Packages & Enclosure Systems

Three enclosure systems — each designed for a different setup scenario. Choose the one that fits how you want to use your garage, basement, or dedicated room. Every system includes the screen.

Note: These packages cover the physical enclosure components — frame, screen, side netting, and mat. The launch monitor, projector, and simulation software are sourced separately. Not sure what else you need? See the full setup overview.

Which Enclosure System Is Right for You?

Three questions narrow it down to one system in under a minute.

Your garage also needs to park a car?

Dedicated space, want the cleanest finish?
→ DIY Enclosure Kit (most popular)

Permanent frame, screen, and full side netting. Assembles in a few hours. The complete, finished bay look.

Building into a permanent wall or room?
→ Built-In Screen Kit

Wall-mounted system for rooms where the screen is part of the architecture. Custom sizing, 2–3 week lead time.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The packages cover the physical enclosure components — the frame, impact screen, and side netting. To have a complete working simulator you also need a launch monitor (the device that reads your ball data), a short-throw projector, simulation software, and a PC to run the software. You may also want a hitting mat if not included. We've written honest, unbiased guides on all of these: the launch monitor comparison covers every monitor by budget, and the projector placement guide explains throw ratios and specific recommendations. We don't sell those components — which means our recommendations are genuinely unbiased.
The DIY Enclosure Kit. A two-car garage with one dedicated bay gives you enough space for a permanent setup — the car parks in the other bay, the simulator bay has a permanent frame, screen, and netting that never needs to be set up or taken down. The enclosure stays assembled. The hitting mat and launch monitor can be left in position. This is the most popular setup among two-car garage owners and gives you the best simulator experience of the three options.
The Retractable Screen System. The screen housing mounts to the ceiling joists at the garage wall end of the bay. The projector also ceiling-mounts and stays in position. For a session: pull the screen down (30 seconds), roll out the Holy Grail Mat, power up the projector and launch monitor. For parking: retract the screen (30 seconds), roll the mat against the wall (or use the ceiling hoist approach), and the car parks normally. The rubber tiles on the floor are car-friendly — they stay permanently. Total session setup time: under 3 minutes.
Use the room configurator — it's free and outputs the exact enclosure size for your room dimensions in 60 seconds. The general rule: your enclosure width should be your room width minus at least 2 ft per side for swing clearance and frame. A 14 ft wide room fits a 10 ft wide enclosure comfortably. A 12 ft wide room can fit a 8–9 ft enclosure. Don't order to room width — that's the most common return reason.
The DIY Enclosure Kit assembles in 2–4 hours with basic tools (drill, level, tape measure). The frame comes pre-cut and pre-labelled with colour-coded connectors — it's designed for homeowner installation. The retractable screen ceiling mount takes 1–2 hours to install, plus projector mounting. The built-in kit depends on your room preparation — the kit itself installs quickly once the framed opening is prepared. All three systems include assembly documentation and access to support.
Yes — the impact screen itself is the same woven construction in both systems. The difference is the housing mechanism, not the screen material. The retractable screen deploys to the same position every time (the housing is fixed), so the projector alignment never needs adjustment after the initial setup. The projected image from a correctly positioned ceiling-mount projector aimed at a retractable screen is identical to a permanent screen setup. The one practical difference is that the retractable screen has a slightly more complex tensioning system than a frame-mounted screen — getting the tension right during initial installation is important, and the guide covers this in detail.
